Unhappy Index page disappeared from Google

Hi:

My Website, tree months old, was in the 6th position among 1.100.000 for a SERP with the exact keywords of the site title.

- Keywords density 9.63% for the exact site title
- 17 back links detected by Yahoo, 10 by MSN, 0 by Google
- No black hat SEO. Followed Google rules.

Index page disappeared from Google cache. The other 6 pages from the site appear in the cache. The site displays normally in MSN and Yahoo.

So, the index page no longer appears on a SERP for ANY keywords. The other 6 pages appear when searched with the relevant keywords.

Did 12 Google ban checks with different tools. Results: “site is not banned”

Will appreciate any ideas, suggestions, any help from the forum members.

Best wishes to all of you.

Have you done any "remodeling" since the last crawl?

remodel = change a substantial amount of content, code, etc.

No. Just some keywords optimization to increase its density from 6% to 9.6%.

Used a tool to analize optimal, below 10%, as if more than 10% the tool reported spam.

This probably isn't a likely scenario, but just a thought...maybe you're trying too hard with the kw density. Google does like to see "natural" text. I may be totally off base here but to me even 10% seems a little high, i.e. 1 out of every 10 words is a keyphrase. hmmm, would look something like:

Body text for a site called "used cars"
Used Cars dolor elit sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Suspendisse orci Used Cars elit nec, malesuada vel, blandit ut, lectus. Etiam sed Used Cars placerat mauris et metus. Ut commodo est quis Used Cars elit dictum. Pellentesque hendrerit elit vel est. Phasellus hendrerit Used Cars elit nisl. Vivamus ullamcorper porta augue. Mauris feugiat, mi Used Cars elit pretium, massa ipsum aliquet arcu, eu euismod mi Used Cars elit amet libero. Cras dolor massa, mattis mollis, bibendum Used Cars elit sed, metus. Nunc sed tortor. Mauris dignissim. Aliquam Used Cars elit. Pellentesque faucibus ligula eu urna. Fusce at lectus. Used Cars elit mi, molestie a, sollicitudin nec, pretium eget, augue Used Cars. Fusce malesuada, ipsum eu sollicitudin elementum, est lectus imperdiet...

I read that KW density should be from 6 to 12%. Keywords are repeated in the copywrite at the bottom of the pages, so they don’t offend the reader (a technique suggested in a SEO book). By the way the keywords are the name of the e-book I endorse, so they look natural.

I used this tool: (URL address blocked: See forum rules) which displayed OPTIMAL RESULTS for 6 to 10%. I warns on SPAM past 10%.

As I read same problem happened to a bunch of Websites, better than mine, which had been indexed back, I hope I have a chance to the page again.

Thank you all for your help.

Smile

Search your site in Google like this:

site:www.domainname.com

Notice whether your index page that you are talking about is displayed or not, along with the other pages. If it does not appear in Google result page, your indexed page is not listed. In such a case you should submit your site in various directories so that the Google crawler can crawl your site and enlist it in its database.
