Inbound link flow

this is my first post

just a quick question,

I have a website with around 100 different inbound links and the link text is related to my boat shop e.g.

- buy boats
- boats
- boating supplies

these all link to the homepage

if i create a page called (URL address blocked: See forum rules)/buy-boats.html and link it from my homepage with "buy boats" as the anchor text, will the external links pointing to the homepage flow onto this page to make it rank in google?

For your answer, it's NO.

You have to separately promote your page domain.com/buy-boats.html and acquire backlinks to that page with your targeted keywords.

But since you already have more than 100 links to your homepage with those keywords, I would suggest that you target your homepage only for those keywords.

The way you're thinking the links will work is incorrect. Links don't work that way.

I f you get inbound links from the same keywords from all your link partners. you will defiantly get the first ranking. anchor text is simple and easy way to boost your ranking.

again not meaning to be contrary here, but similar link text around the keyword is needed not the same text.

100% the same text on all incoming links is asking for a penalty.
