Illegal? - Google Video 'Put on site'
Well, I believe this is a new feature and I believe it will result in some pretty pissed off websites. Go to http://video.google.com and find a video of choice. On the right is a 'put on site' button. This gives you source code to stream another websites videos on your website like it is your own. Otherwords free content (and bandwidth free video footage) where you still have the traffic benefits.
Being able to do this is nothing new but the fact that google is suggesting people do it is suprising and concerning to me (I have unique videos on my site). Sounds almost illegal. If your videos do not state the source of the video, the user will never know where it came from. Opinions? |

Guess we'll have to make sure to have our copyright info tagged into our movies.
I remember reading somewhere that even G thinks its video.google is lame. Its been under fire for quite some time and I think they'll get rid of it or reform it.
