Well the value of that link all depends on its relevancy, authority and value. If it is related to your site and the link is not on a links page it will likely have very good value. If the site is unrelated and/or is on a links page the value will not be as high. But keeping working at it and before you know it you will have thousands of those little buggers

Also, the bleed effect will not effect your PR4... Only backlinks will effect your PR of any given page. With each outgoing link from a page, the amount of "link juice" given to the linked to page diminishes because the link juice is shared between the total number of outgoing links.

To comment further the people in the thread really need more information, your domain name and the url where the link is placed. If you submit these to the thread in a way in which a hyperlink isn't created by say replacing .com with (dot)com that doesn't break the rules. Then I'd be happer to comment on your shiny new link more specifically.

It doesn't guarantee you anything but it sure will help! There's a lot of discussion on Content being King but if it is then relevant & quality links have to be the queen of SEO ... There's lots of "procreation" gags there but I'll leave it there! ;-)
