    huge site, huge sitemap

    Hi,
I'm building a huge website, it's about 52.000 static pages; created dynmically ;).
So, again, the problem is how to build a map. I thought at a 3 level map, but in each page with 3 steps is possible to reach all the pages without a map.
It seems that a sitemap is useless (from the point of view of the SE); is it so?

Another thing: to concentrate the relevancy of the main pages (are over 1000) is it correct to have less out link on these pages?
I've a homepage /index.htm and about 1200 mainpages of the type /keyword.htm (with the correct title, descr, kws, h1...)
On the homepage (index.htm) I will insert 30 links to the pages with the links to all these mainpages.
Have you some hint to improve these?

    Thanks!

More than a 100 links per page and Google with not parse any more.

Concentrate on the main hierarchy pages.

For your project size site maps will not help much.

The best directory to take - yet inbound link coming in at multiple deep points in the site - will help spiders to "dig deep".

I know the limit oh 100 links for each page; it's a big problem.

If i make 2 links to the same page B from a page A what happen? is it counted 2 times?

Googlebot will crawl both but will not add to backlinks (if that's what you mean).

Keep the links on a given page to a reasonable number (fewer than 100).
Truth or guideline ? Google states this as a "guideline for webmasters". I have doubts that googlebot takes much more (allthough i have not tested this accurately)
