How will Google Chrome change the SEO game?
Hello,
You may have already heard/read - Google's own Internet browser Chrome is out and enjoying an enviable adoption rate! If you are familiar with the Google's search technology patent, you know that a lot of the user browsing patterns goes into the website ranking. So far, Google have been able to monitor these patterns through the Google Toolbar plug-ins for IE and Firefox. With the Chrome browser they will have much greater control over the process. Of course, there will be a privacy setting that would prevent Google from collecting this info, but how many users will be aware (or bother) with it?
As you can imagine, user browsing patterns is something that today's search engine optimization can do little about... Or can it? Share your thoughts.
