How long for new pages to show these days ?

Could anyone tell me how long it takes a new page to be fully indexed at the moment - in the past I've allways worked on round about a month but lately I've heard that some webmasters have had a new page show in the serps in around 2 weeks ?

Yeah, it seems to now be about every two weeks, with folks in the forums holding their collective hats in their hands during the wait!!

Depends on your backlinks and their quality. If they're high you'll get indexed faster than normal sites. We have gotten sites index in 3 days and i'm sure some others here have done it even faster with more quality backlinks.

Getting indexed now is one thing, coming up for those optimized terms is another =)

I also thought (maybe I am not correct?) that it also depends on your websites PR, websites with higher PR's seemed to get indexed quicker. I have a new site, which wasn't on Google, I put a link on my homepage, and it was on Google within 48 hours.

Yep that's a trick... then you remove the link if you like...
I'm getting my stuff ready, we should get a deepcrawl soon...
