any changes usually show about 48 hours afer being spidered. If you keep your content fresh, googlebot will keep coming back to spider.

depends on google and when it updates your site!!...

If you look at the date next to the search results this should give you a good idea... lots of sites showing the 5 Jun 2004 today surgesting that 48hrs is about right...

How quickly also depends on PR I think. We are a High PR 4-Low PR 5 and we get our index page refreshed about every two to three days and a deep crawl normal every 10-14 days. Like celcon said, once crawled, changes usually show up in about 48 hours.

Depends on the importance of your site.. a PR 9 will update within hours, a PR 1 won't update for weeks..

yep, it depends on the PR and how often it's changed in the past.

only our main page is updated before the monthly deep crawl, really.

If you change your title tag, google will have it in the SERPs very soon after crawling your site... I have noticed only a day or two for PR6/PR7 pages. Also when putting up a new page with multiple PR6/PR7 links hitting it, that page will appear in the serps in a day or two.

The key however, is how fast links, link text, and onpage changes will impact your rankings... IMO google is very slow to credit some of these things. A year ago such changes would make your rankings jump almost immediately and people were learning the algo quickly.... now it seems that google credits slowly and if you are a tweaker you will never figure out what helped and what hurt.

Bottom line.... build a good page from the start... hone it, polish it, put all you got into it, then put it up a wait a month or two at least before making any changes... then when you do make changes do them very carefully, spend some time on it then post the new page a wait. From what I have seen good rankings take time to mature... longer now than in the past.
