How do you tell a Google Penguin friendly website?

I have been seeing link sellers saying their links or blogpost is Google Penguin update friendly, what do they mean by that? how do you determine if a site is penguin update friendly or not?

    Thanks

Take a look through these forums and read everything you can find that references Matt Cutts. They have spelled out pretty clearly what's acceptable and what's not.

From there you will be able to answer your own question.

The update is still very new and Google is great at giving vague references to issues, so there may not be a 100% correct answer for you yet.

Prior to Penguin many sites selling links and/or content claimed to be Google friendly. Now that most of their customers have lost so much, they are now claiming that their methods are Penguin friendly. This is likely true until Google releases Penguin-2 (or some other named algo change). Take whatever risks you want, but don't come back here asking for help in recovering from that Penguin-2 algo change.

Selling/Buying links has never been good in the eyes of google and has always been against the google guidelines, so whether these sites say they are "penguin friendly" or not, WHEN google finds you have been using such sites to buy links in order to manipulate rankings and/or PR your site WILL be punished!

Bottom line, don't buy links from sites that advertise the sale of links!
