"banning G will help you with the other SEs. This just isn't true"

    I never said that ?
Where did I say that a ban on G will help with other SE's?

Has anyone ever sat down and considered how "bizzare" it sounds to BAN GOOGLE?

I think too that it sounds outlandish.

The reason this is - is because 99.99% of the time its google doing the banning/sandboxing/downgrading.

    Thats how brainwashed we are.

Sit down - make a brew - and just think - "Ban Google" - how ridiculous does that sound?

In actual fact - it is VERY REWARDING. And I mean that.

    Probably just a grammar thing.

No - banning googlebot will not aid in the rankings of other SE's - or will it?

    ;)

    So, back to the OP...

Clean up your site. Read the links posted here.

    Don't ban Google

And keep reading the posts at SEOChat.

We get the occasional political hack, especially durring updates, but most of the posters here are among the best in the business. I have learned almost everything I know about SEO in just months thanks to these brilliant people.

Even if you hardly had any competition - you may still get stuffed if you stepped out of the "Google Line".

Getting links too fast ?? LOL

Dont - I just fell off my chair.

Dude (Oposter) - I can be trusted.

    Lets see.

    To all the experts.

Please resolve a though m. If you do ok - I will request further info.

The OPoster may find that inbounds are gained too fast for his site.
According to the patents - this could have a detrimental effect on the sites ranking.

The number of inbound links one should initially recieve naturally for a search term of "search engine optimisation" is (a)

    (a) should increase/decrease by (b) each day over a period of (c) days.

    (d) represents an acceptable rate of loss of links per day over time. Is (d) variable?

    (e) represents the proportion of links which contain only the anchor text to be targetted by the page as a %
    (f) represents the proportion of links which contain the exact target phrase - but also contain other words - as a %
    (g) represents the proportion of links which contain the word "search" and no other words as a %
    (h) represents the proportion of links which contain the word "engine" and no other words as a %
    (i) represents the proportion of links which contain the word
"optimisation" and no other words as a percentage.

(j, k, l) represent (j,h,i) identically however other words are included - excluding words which form the target phrase.
    e.g. - "Search at home"

    (m) represents the acceptable proportion of identical class C IP inbound link sources - as a percentage - above this would trigger filter?

and so on and so on.

Mate - stick the disallow tag in robots - upload your site - grab a few links and if your good - M and Y will list you - GOOGLE WILL NOT.

Thats right - efforts will be rewarded - there probably wont be a ranking boost on Y or MSN for banning google - but efforts on a site to make Y or MSN like it - WILL be rewarded - and FAST.

I thought Brandall the big guy expert wouldnt reply to my questions regarding specific items.

Thats cos hes just all mouth and no pants.

The proof is in the pudding - and BIG BOY BRAND cant walk the walk - he can talk the talk of course. Walk the Walk?

    Errr - NO.

I thought they would all close their little squibbly mouths when it came to a questionaire - listen Oposter - do as ive recommended - IGNORE GOOGLE - BAN THEM - AND GET ON WITH MSN AND YAHOO.

And ignore the likes of the code worshipper brandall - and youll do just fine.

Once again - the EXPERTS all have their mouths shut.

If anyone would like expert mathamatical analysis of the serps rather than just the usual crap like "heres another google basher" - give me a shout.

Theres plenty of "preachers" on here. Welcome to the sharkpit.

Absolutely and TOTALLY WETTING MY PANTS.

    All good fun.
