Thumbs up Hi...Can someone review my site - new comer

Hi

This is my first thread... I would like begin by thanking this forum and all the members here for all the knowledge provided in helping people to improve there sites and understand how search engines work, i have read and put in practice all that i have read on the forum. Well not all cos sometimes one person says left and then someone would say right, well trial and error....well as they say don't nock it until you try it

The big question
why did i make this website....i have a friend who owns a scrap yard, now he got a call one day from a company who did parts location service. i happen to be there and they gave me the low done on how there system was the best. No other site was good they had it all...50,000 requests a month. Well me being the way i am, i don't like people giving me mouth the person on the phone made out he owned google and auto trader.....he thought i was part of the Flintstones family. i told him i will make a site and get 50,000 requests a month but he laughed at me gonna make him eat his words.....some rings you and then gives you mouth well, the way this guy made it out he had could control the net..the big banana..... and that is that. well getting there but slowly,....make me angry even thinking of them.

This is my first site and i think i have done pretty good so fare with the help of this forum.

I have ranking on my home page and a few other pages in the site and i have had 2400 requests made using the quote system.

My site has been running for 3 months, i have many domain's but one database.

If it is possible for someone to take a look at the site and provide some feedback PLEASE

textsparesdotcodotuk - main site
vw-breakersdotcodotuk -suppliers who dont have a website.
twmercedespartsdotcodotuk
zaautosalvagedotcodotuk
search4carpartsdotcodotuk
etc etc etc

I give a site to any supplier who needs one FREE...so now all the Suppliers have a nice site without the bull and headache.

hope the feedback is good. fingers crossed.

thanks again SEO chat is the best place to get advice on the net.

You have loads of JavaScript in the Head of the page there are 155 lines before the opening body tags. Put as much js as possible in external files, there is also css in the head, put this in an external file. start using div's instead of tables to help rearrange the main content on the page to the top of the body. Try to use different titles on every page... I'll tell you what look at this thread Top 12 SEO tips for 2008 and start at the beginning

Hi,

I just took a quick look at your site and noticed a few things you could correct.

As mentioned you have heaps of javascript in there which would be much better in an external file.

I would also be inclined to add some text at the bottom of the page there using your keywords and as mentioned implement some page headings throughout the content of your site.

Your alternative text (ALT Tags) are not present on your images, I would add these also and make them as descriptive and accurate as possible.
