H1 links

Hello everybody, sorry for my ignorance about a lot of SEO things, but can i create an internal link for a word inside a H1 tag ( or all the words inside that H1 tag ) for another page of my site ? Would this be good or bad ? As my site is a site builder and i am not a programmer, should i first create the H1 tag and then create the link for some or all of those words inside the H1, or should i create the link first and then choose that word that has the link to another page as an H1 tag ? Hope i could explain well. Thank you.

Hi acpmc,

You can link an H1 tag but it's will likely have as much of a negative effect on your real "H1 header tag" as it will have positive effect on the link... (I don't think it will hurt much, or help much... but I wouldn't do it)!

If you mean can you link some of the words in your H1 tag to other page(s), the answer is yes (you can do what you want ) but - if you really want to know if it will help your ranking, the answer is probably not.
