Unhappy Google yanked my home page!?!?

(Been a reader for a few months, first post. I'm basically a SEO newbie.)

My home page appears to have been yanked from google's index.

I believe it is because to determine where the site is ranking I have been searching for my keywords and just going through each page until I find my site... I've looked at Google's “terms of service” and I see that they prohibit automated searches, but I am not doing that, I am MANUALLY searching. Lately, I've been doing this more than once a day, maybe 3-4 times tops, and I've been clicking on the link. My theory is that they see these searches happening a certain amount of times, from the same IP, periodically clicking the same link (My sub theory is that their algorithm must use click-through rates on their SERPs, otherwise why protect it?) and have determined that I am either an automated process or trying to game the click-through rate piece of their algorithm..??

It's been a few days and none of my pages are coming up for my normal search terms, and when I search for my (URL address blocked: See forum rules), I get some pages returned , but my main page “/” is not in the results, even supplemental.

Please help me figure this out,
Seth

No, Google does not penalize people's curiosity!

Google does have www.pigskinherald.com/index.php indexed. But all your internal links are pointing to www.pigskinherald.com/, Have you recently made that change?

Good to know they don't penalize for that!!

Actually yes, I setup mod_rewrite to send all index.html or index.php requests to / and I set all pigskinherald.com requests to go to www . pigskinheald . com... I didn't think that would effect my ranking in the SERPs. I guess it has. I'll just wait it out?

Thanks for the input!
Seth

That's sometimes a frustrating wait, but it will happen.
