Google Website Optimizer

Has anyone used Google Website Optimiser? I am looking to see if people have used it?

Interesting. Must be new. I've never heard of Google offering that before.

I think it is not to optimize your website to get better rankings but optimize the structure, design, usability of your website to increase your conversion rate.

I just took the tutorial.

It's a Google Adwords tool to help you decide how to design your page, what headings to use, what images, what textual content to use to CONVERT better.

It's A/B testing. Multivariate testing.

You create a few different sections of your page, creating a few variables. Google Adwords randomly displays your variable landing pages, and Googe Website Optimizer stats tell you which sections converted best.

Good tool to test content conversion thru Google Adwords, to then try get ranked well too.

I'm great on the top listings, getting them to convert wonderfully I'm still working on, so maybe trying something like this could help figure it out.
