    google site: question


    If I want to check which pages are indexed in google using site:www.mydomain.com .. i get results. If i do it without the www I get no results. Any idea why ?

    I'd assume you don't have any links to the site with-out the www. along with internal links.

    Just redirect to your www domain name onto without www, this help Google to understand single Url.

    Just stick with www and you are perfect. In case you bother for non-www version, it would increase the confusion for Google. So, let it be and go ahead with 'www' version !

    first of all check if is there canonical issue and then check may be you could get proper results.

    Ummm that was a bit unclear. For the record, in this case it should be:
    1) EITHER a redirect from the NON-www to the www version using mod_rewrite or some such
    2) OR nothing (i.e. no action required), since there doesn't seem to be a problem
