Google SERPs influenced by click-through-rate of generic (non ads) search results
Do you think, that Google SERPs are influenced by click-through-rate of generic (non ads) search results ?
From searcher's point of view there would be certain logic in reinforcing websites, that seem to be the most relevant for other searchers.
On the other hand, the sites that are on first places would anyhow have much higher click-through-rate then worse placed sites, therefore a compensating formula would be required.
I found also this 2-years old thread about same issue: http://forums.seochat.com/google-optimization-7/does-google-modify-rankings-based-upon-click-rate-16274.html
