Google Search Results Question

Hi,

I have Small question if anyone can help me understand this .

If you search for austin wine bar ( just a Random Keyword ) the first thing that comes up is a Google Map List of sites and their Address ( URL) . If you click on them it directly takes you to the site ..( See attached Image )

img508.imageshack.us/img508/6526/austinbarqs3.gif

Now if you search for "hill house philadelphia" ( without the Quotes) If again comes up with a Map However the URl next to the Map has no Address listed and if you click on it would take you to the maps.google.com and would search the term Hill house . ( See attached Image )

img387.imageshack.us/img387/9552/hillhousesy1.gif

Can someone please help me understand the difference .. why is the link not Coming for Hill House , I want to have a Link Next to the Hill House Site Just as the other sites had. and rather than taking uses directly to Hill house site It's taking them to Google map.

Hope i am making Sense here

Thanks in Advance

Register your business and it's physical address (and verify it) at https://www.google.com/local/add/

Hi,

thanks for Answering .... However if you check the Images i have posted in my first post ... Hill House Registered at Google Maps ...When we search for "hill house philadelphia" it does come up on the Search results on Google and hill house is the only site that comes up .. However if you see both the images posted there is a difference .... the Word Hill House links to the Google Map and not to the actual site and for the others it links back to the Individual site .

The difference is one is listing a physical location only the other is listing business listed at that particular location.

Where A,B,C,D,E etc is listed, they are each links to individual business that relate to your keyword search at the location.
This is a local business SERP

Where just the location is listed this displays the geographic are you have searched for - but no business listed.
This is a Geographical SERP
