Google search results not bolding matched words

I have a site and look up the exact title of a page. I come up on the first page of google results but the phrase (title) has none of the words that match bolded. ???

What's even more strange is that I have a domain name that points to my site which comes up on the same page of search results with the title, matched words, in bold.

What is the deal? The bolded words definitely stick out and I'd prefer to have it that way on my main site.

Yeah what's worse is I have the same site displayed, the real domain, and a pointer, and the POINTER gets the bolded font. Doesn't make sense.

Try kw SpeaQualiser

I think its common on loads of keywords, but this was the first one I noticed. I sell this on my glow-sticks.org page which is 8th on that list and that isn't in bold either.

Anyone know why?

I have tried Google.com and see those bolded. Possibly it is an algorithmic adjustments.

Facebook
That's strange. I typed a keyword into Google in Internet Explorer and there were no bold keywords in the results. I did the same in Firefox for the same keyword and the keywords came up in bold as usual? Glitch?

No I have tried different browsers and different versions of google e.g .com .co.uk etc

Another kw is 'flashing party pitcher jug'

The only possible reason is that I have recently changed the url path of all my product pages, maybe because they have just been added to the index it causes the kw's not to go bold, but I'd say i'm clutching at straws with that possible cause.

Surely someone knows why this is the case! Usually only my site is affected, but I have seen others sometimes, sometimes on the same kw too and some other guy started the thread the same day I noticed it too.

Someone must know something!

Just to be clear, i'm only referring to the title and not the description, the descs seems to bold as per usual.

The main thing to do before drawing any conclusions is to check and report here which Google data centers these results are coming from.

In the search results page, you will be able to click on a cached version. Do this and record the IP address in the URL address bar. This is the Google Data Center that you are on.

Check on a variety of data centers on this data center list

On that list only these dc's: 8,9,52,53,55 show the kw titles in bold, the rest do not. I don't mean every listing, just particular sites!

Any clues? Slightly concerned as a huge amount of my listings are affected.

Same thing happens for another kw flashing tambourines.

Two sites titles are not bold for those kw's.

Unless someone knows why this is happening then I'll leave it at this now, unusual to have stumped the seochat experts

H Londoner. I've started another thread on google groups so we'll see what happens there. I have many keywords where this is the case and I want a solution. As a normal web user I definitely click on the bolded titles so I feel this google error puts us at a disadvantage.

I figured out what the problem is on my pages. The code is not valid HTML because I have html tags <table>, <td> etc BEFORE the main opening <html> tag. Because of this google interprets those pages as errors. Perhaps that is your issue as well?
