Google Search For My Homepage Title - Zero Results

When I do a search for the title of my home page, I don't see any results in google, but it comes back in yahoo.

Anyone else seeing this issue in google??

Yes I'm sure others are experiencing this so if you could point me to any threads discussing this same issue I would appreciate it, or if you have any input/suggestions that would also be much welcomed.

Your home page might not have sufficient ranking for you to find it but Google is indexing your home page and content:

I thought maybe there was an issue with the title not being unique enough, but that does not appear to be the case as it still does not show in Google.

Seems you just changed your site title last few days ?
Your last cache was on 28 March 2010, where your site title was
    Motorcycle Helmets | Motorcycle Helmet - MotorMedley.com

Now you seem to be losing both title search, but
next re cache it should appear fine

Yes, I changed the title last Thursday just to see if a more unique title would make a difference in what I am seeing. When I search for the new title in yahoo, it comes up fine. Still nothing in Google.

I've been dealing with zero results in Google for quite some time now even after extensive link building efforts and homepage content work and am to the point where I am ready to pursue other options such as moving to a new domain name where I can start fresh. I'm exhausting my efforts and unfortunately cannot afford to throw anymore money into Google's black hole.

First of PR and ranking are 2 diffrent things

Secondly did you build backlinks with anchor text as the title
Anyway it also can take time if you changed several days the title ....

I used the main keywords from my homepage in the anchor text of the majority of the backlinks, not necessarily the title. I also tried to used different anchor text for the backlinks where possible.

Most of my subpages are doing very well in Yahoo and Bing. Do a search for chain wallet

My site comes up on page 1 in Yahoo. Nowhere to be found in Google.

Makes me wonder even more if Google is filtering out my domain for keyword phrases other than my domain name.

How long is your website? if it is new site, it is normal.

If it is old site, we advise you to wait one or two days.

Also, we are worry that you do too much SEO.

    It happens.
Have you checked whether your site has already been indexed by google?

Google and Yahoo has different algorithm.

If your site has not been optimized according to google's algorithm, it might be the reason for your problem.

    Yes my site is indexed.

Do you know Google's algorithm? Cause if you could let me know what it is that would be great! ;)

Page rank only plays a small part in the algo.

No one knows Google's algorithm, why would you think they did? If Google released that information things would get really ugly.
