This sounds like you are using a Google Maps API to add details about your business in the place bubble on the map. Which is great, but you may have a better chance of getting an answer on a web design forum. You will definitely have to provide more details. I could think of a handful of things 'invalid' carrier could mean, and that's what the web design forum guys will say also.
