Is there anyway to tell on what page of google my site is listed for a specific keyword without searching through EVERY results page?

thanks, Richard

I use this http://www.link-assistant.com/rank-tracker/. You can track if your keywords moved up or down and a few other features.

Two things:

1) set your preferences on Google to 100 results per search.. Yes - Amazing that it took me a year to figure that out.

2) Another tracker in addition to above is at hubshout dot com...

The Rank Checker add-on for Firefox is also useful. However, I think it's been said that the rank checking tools are not 100% accurate so you may wish to do manual checks on your more important keywords.

Google web master tools also shows where you come for searched terms.

It is dependant on data center but is a useful indication.

What I do is - check on the 100 searches per page on Google. If I am not in the top 100 - I got work to do! I don't bother looking any further than the top 100 - it practical terms that means no traffic which means must try harder!

I like this tool: http://seodigger.com for $20 a month you can check unlimited URLs and it gives you the popular phrases you have in the top 20 for both Google and MSN. The data runs about 6 weeks behind but the information is really valuable when used in conjunction with keyword research tools to target valuable phrases. Plus you can check the rankings of competitors too.

Do what he said in 1) then press ctrl and f and type in your url then it will find your site instantly....if it is there that is! Repeat for the 1-8 or so pages if necessary, only takes a minute.

I personally feel that no tool can give you exact information. Whether it is rank of your site or number of back links.

The best way:

1. Sign Out from every Google applications (If you are sign in in gmail, Google Analytics or Google webmaster Tool)

2. Set Up the search result as 100 result per page (as rightly suggested by tstolber) and look for your site.
