Google keyword tool - help!
I'm adding several new pages of content to our site in the next week or so and currently researching a few keyword phrases to target with the pages.
When using Google Adwords tool i'm using 'Exact Match' to get an idea of what people search for, but should I be using the 'phrase' option as the results do differ?

I usually start with broad when I'm trying to get a sense of the entire universe. For example, auto vs car.
Then I move to phrase match to see which are the important phrase combinations for grouping pages into categories. And then I go to exact match when I'm mapping out individual pages.

I don't use Google tools, so I can't help you there...
When I'm researching keywords I would just do a search for a main key words or phrase, at the bottom of the search results google shows: Searches related to (keywords searched) which can also give you an idea of different related terms to use. Searching the related terms will also show additional phrases.
