Google Indexing page crawling problem

Hello,
I have problem with google bot, it crawls index page after 10 days. I have sitemap which regularly update. I see the google bot activity in my website. Google crawls my website pages after every second.. and crawling rate is about 600+ pages.

What should i do, so google crawl my index atleast once a day.

Thanks,
Moazam

Facebook
Get a link from a high quality site (easier said than done I know).

An RSS feed is also worth a try, like ezhilraja mentioned. This will generate new content on a daily, hourly basis. Google loves constantly-updating sites, they'll visit your site more often to see what other content you offer.

Same i have posted in some other post as reply regarding

How Google crawls internal link structure.....

Well Google as well as most of the search engines follows same criteria to Crawl internal link structure.

Suppose you have link on your home page (wwwdotexampledotcom) under anchor text: Temporary sites and this Anchor text links to some page within your site like : wwwdotexampledotcom/data/files/tempsitesdothtml

Now Google can not access to this level "wwwdotexampledotcom/data/files/tempsitesdothtml" directly . So firstly spider will visit first level(data) then goes to second level(files) then your page will be crawled.

So according to this your Home page should be crawled everytime .
PM you url or post here in the format i have used above.

Thanks
GSL

A few methods by virtue of which you can get the main page cralwed:

1. Refreshing the content( Big changes not a line or two)

2. like Ezhil said, RSS feed

3. Pointing a few high PR links to the page

4. connect the page to such a page that gets cralwed daily or more faster then any other.

5. you can try and have a few backlinks from forums .. Or you can make a small coloum on the page which shows News, and which should change itself quiet frequently..

Hope they help..

All great points, just want to add that if for instance your selling products and add them daily and have reviews about them, to add them in the homepage with a description (unique), this will also make the spider go deeper into your site straight away while passing the PR value.

Im not a big fan of RSS as they come from another website and are also used by others, i just feel that this can lead to dup issues. Just add fresh content and link it from the homepage with a description, do this every time you add something and google will love it. ;)
