Google is counting their adwords links for popularity :(

I have been studying a group of serps which involve commercial terms and i can say that i am sure that google is COUNTING their adwords/adsense text links at other sites towards a sites POPULARITY AND RELEVANCE ..... much the same as they used to value BACKLINKS .....

So this is the BIGGEST MONEY GRAB AND HYPOCRACY combined at the same time. It is known in the legal field as TALKING OUT OF BOTH SIDES OF YOUR MOUTH AT THE SAME TIME .....

On the one hand .... google says BUYING LINKS from small webmasters is bad .... in fact it is SO BAD that we are NOT EVEN GOING to give you any credit for those NASTY "site wide links" ..... after all .... NO ONE can click on those sorry links and go to your site like the page rank theory envisions with its "democratic" ranking theory ....

BUT .,... on the other hand .... we have designed sofisticated AD SERVING TECHNOLOGY to show links to RELEVANT SITES at adsense publishers sites .... so WE THINK that would be a NICE reqard to our adwords customers to USE THAT DATA to assess relevance PLUS count those adsense text links at all those adsense publishers sites to put sites into a REAL NICE THEME ...... and therefopre rank them higher in the serps EVEN IF THAY DONT HAVE A SINGLE BACKLINK to their credit ......

I have an example of a site which ONLY has a link at the better business bureau as it ONLY BACKLINK .,.... and they rank nicely in a competitive KW that they ADVERTISE EXTENSIVELY WITH in googles adwords ....

other sites need MANY BACKLINKS to get their position .... so this is in my opinion a CLEAR CASE OF Google 1) MAKING FALSE AND MISLEADING STATEMENTS TO INTERNET USERS and 2) AUCTIONING OFF THEIR SERPS (INDIRECTLY OF COURSE) through adwords bids ....

I wonder if google has disclosed the potential for their liability for this issue in their SEC DISCLOSURES to the potential investors who may one day have to pay for these transgressions upon the collective consciounce of our civilization?????

in the topic you said adwords.

    in the case of adwords:

robots.txt blocks it, as it's on google itself.

in the case of adsense ads:

it's javascript. google can't parse it. not to mention, even if they could, they're dynamically generated. view a cached page with an adsense ad. the ad will turn into a PSA.

daa ..... are you some PR rep for google??

since GOOGLE GENERATES THE LINKS WHEN SOMEONE DOES THE SEARCH .... do you think the googlebot needs to read some source code to know what goes there??

can you add one plus one ??

Well, let's see proof of your theory. Otherwise, this is just an anecdotal rant.

adwords don't count for link pop... or one of my competitors would own the web.

also, over the past few years I have turned my adwords off and on, several times - for months at a stretch - and the rankings of that site have not changed.
