Google cares Duplicate content ???????

while i was searching for the keyword "embed validation error" i found that sites ranking at 3,4,5 hav the same content. how is it possible that all three are ranking well and good that too in the top and who is the original out of this. what happened to Gooooooooooogle in this case.

not to done if content edited

Google does view all three urls not to same if they have done few change in their content, title and metas. That's why these three sites in top position....but still if editing of these sites not well then it may be trouble for them coz when ever google index these urls agaib then sure they are out of result

Although duplication is bad for Google I personally don't believe that Google will ban a site with dup content that easy.

If this was the case it would be extremely easy for anybody from the competition of your company to grab an old domain, copy/paste your website, publish it and then submit it to Google. You guess you know what will follow :-)

Your competitors goes down and you stay alone on top.

this is not the real case though :-)
