Google Business Center - and SERP results

Does anyone know if there is any kind of relationship between results posted in the Local Business Center and what appears in the SERPs?

There is no relationship between the two as far as I can see and lots of companies are trying to cheat and have multiple entries in GBS!

"pack" or "paks" refers to the grouping that G does when it shows a LOCAL result of serps....ie look up "your city name lawyers" and see what's up top at a part of the G maps results...

There is no relation between the two.

It is just if you search a service city/area wise you would find local result in a group on the top of the other SERP's just to help visitors with local results.

Google just try to give you best and specific information.

And this will definitely hurt those companies more then help. Multiple listings is a no no.

I am interested to see if the reviews of companies in the Google Business Center has any impact on SERP's down the road. Quite a few review sites out there occupy real estate in the SERP's for terms.
