    I use a spam filter on my server to redirect stuff like this to a junk mailbox. It's at:

    www.eridani.co.uk/MailStripper/

    Been very handy and the guy that wrote it provides awesome support.

    Removing your email form the list is about the worst thing you can do. What you're really doing is telling them that your Email address is valid, exists and gets checked. All the more money it's worth to sell to other SPAMer's out there. As was suggested, either redirecting to a non-used mailbox, or some other way of filtering out these messages is the only way to do it properly.

    Do they spider your pages or click on the links? In the former case you could test their bot's IQ and encrypt/tweak the email link somewhat... Maybe even something simple like HREF=javascript:document.location="mai"+"lto"+":somename"+unescape("%40")+"somedomain.com";history.go(0)

    Or something dynamic using ONMOUSEOVER, so it's only a valid link for people, not for bots...

    I use

    Code:
    <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript" TYPE="text/javascript"><!--
    var name = "webmaster";
    var domain = "example.com";
    document.write('<a href=\"mailto:' + name + '@' + domain + '\">');
    document.write(name +'</a>');
    // -->
    </SCRIPT>
    Can't be spidered, place on page where E mail link required

    Hehe, that's a great tip, although I don't think the phone numbers remain toll free when dialed from overseas...

    The part about calling makes sense.

    I actually went to the web site, found their number and called it and when i got an answer i asked "how the %%%% do i get taken off your %%%% spam list" and the guy says "thats the responsibillity of our fullfilment companies" and hangs up on me!

    I'm going to call again tomarow and pretend to be interested, let him go on for 10-15 mins about his super great email spam and then when he asks for my sale im going to tell him to shove it
