Google Being Nice to ME!

Wierd is all i can say. Last month I did some SEO work on a few of my blogs. Keywords, title changes, duplicate content removal all that good stuff. Google seemed to hate me for it and practically disappeared from site.

I decided to wait it out to see if it would come back stronger then before. Last couple weeks its started to crawl back in, however tonight something odd happened. Google is blasted my sites like crazy.. probably a good 40% increase.

I have a hard time believing that google liked all my changes at once to 5 different blogs... can anyone explain why I would get a sudden surge in google hits, perhaps others are experiencing it as well. Of course I am not complaining.. just at a loss to explain it.

You may have hit what is known as a "tipping point". That is the point at which dramatic change is experienced all at one time. You can improve... improve... improve... with no measurable difference being shown on the search engines... Then... bang... something triggered the algo and it all came together. I have had this happen a couple of times without my being able to point at any one thing that may have done it. I normally just smile knowlingly and make believe I understand what just happened... It works for me.

Reverse concept to the famous expression:

Well Google came into my blogs like i mentioned and I had two days of crazy googleness. almost a 50% increase in traffic, my search ranking positions were much higher and things were looking up.

Today they all went back to the way they were. About a 50% loss and rankings dropped. Didnt change a thing... Google is very very unpredictable.. have no idea why I was swamped quickly and then left quickly.
