Google and Vbulletin Forums Indexing Concern

Hello

Recently we enabled guests to view our forums (had it disabled for several months).

This means that the google robots will now see all the content.

Because it is a larger forum, is it possible now that Google will be indexing all these new links, that it might look suspicious to google and we will generate some sort of penalty because of it?

....Or does google recognize it is a forum and we have nothing to worry about?

Just dont want them thinking we all of a sudden added over 15,000 links to our site when, in fact, that content had been there for a long time but google never saw it before because guests were not allowed to view our forums.

I guess my question also concerns the other major search engines as well...

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I wouldnt think it would give you a lasting problem, google may remove you for a couple of weeks just to figure out what you did, but it will soon realise it is a forum.

Just keep getting a few links here and there and it should be fine.

I wouldn't think this is a concern, it will take several crawls for Google to fully index.

Ok thanks, I hope it isn't a problem.

I would hope that we are not REMOVED for a couple weeks even because we have very favorable search engines rankings right now for several of our key words.
