    Getting backlinks from lower PR sites. Useful?

    My site PR is 4. It I take backlinks from site with low PR, will they do something to enhance my serp ranking in google?

    Yes.
    PR is a long way from being the most important thing to look for in a link, relevance is far more important.

    If the page you're going to get the link from is good quality and also relevant to your receiving page that is great. And even if PR is low today... it'll most likely rise soon enough.
