General HTTP error

General HTTP error

In my Google Webmaster tools, it says I have a General HTTP Error and I have a feeling it may be hurting my ranking.

The date next to it says Sept-8-2008 and it hasn't disappeared yet (will it?), but it's still there.

They've cached my site several times since (last time being Oct 6, 2008) then so I have no idea what the problem is.

I did some research and a bunch of people have been complaining about the same problem around the same date that it happened to me.

Can anybody shed some insight?
