The only thing I would like to suggest you that if possible change the domain name. It is too big to remember.

I think, to put keyword in the domain name you have selected this name. Keyword in domain name has very little impact. Select a domain name which is easy to remember, that will be helpful for branding also.

Keywords in domain names did have an impact a while back.

Now they just annoy people!

Your post is rather general. There is probably a long list of things that we could recomend.

Read through this site and once you understand a bit more, post some specific questions then you will get some very valuable advice.

I had a brief look.

It looks like you are doing OK.

Your articles are coming into Google's index. You site is indexed and you have some links.

You are targeting a very competetive industry which is probably why you are not seeing the results you are expecting.

I did the following searchin Google.co.uk for UK only and got you on the second page.

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&cr=countryUK%7CcountryGB&q=%22Critical+Illness+Insurance%22&start=10&sa=N

An observation after having a brief look is that your Keyword Targeting could be letting you down.

If you didn't understand SEO, why did you get PR 4?
well, why don't you use unbeatable.life.critical.insurance.co.uk ro make it shorter. The content is fine but a little dull try to make it alive where users will know that your site service from the first time they see your site.ei;images. make it alive.

Buying links is NOT seen as good practice by Google.

In the short trem it may well benenfit you but I would strongly advise against it.
Its a risky business.

Great content will get you links.

How do Google see that you are buying these links ? What will happen if they find out you are buying them ?

You'll get banned Glenn, and its not worth it as Google see's how your sites are networked, and the risk is too high.

They do get found out, Take alook at bestdeal for example, we are choosing to learn from there mistakes, not follow them.

They had it all, and then wreaked it, by just doing too many links.
