Question From where to get good links
Currently my PR dropped to zero from 3. Google is showing 15 links for my sites majority are from link exchange. So I think google is not giving weightage or less importance to links from link exchange

as we known links from forums and blogs are devalued by google and many forums and blog are with nofollow tag, Also the links from directory sites are devalued.

Then from were to get good quality links which will help in increasing SERP's and PageRank?

Please help.

I don't think links from forums and blog commenting are devalued because right now I'm still doing this kind of link building and it still helps to improved my site SERP.

Firstly, drawing any conclusions about links by checking from Google is a waste of time.

Secondly blog commenting, forum posting and directories are not the only thing to do for acquiring good quality links. I think you've missed tons of posts written on the same topic throughout the forum.

The key is to find trusted domains / blogs “complimentary yet not directly competing” to your theme.

Good hunting places are google advanced search, dmoz, top bloggers search and any good back link checker tool
( with which you can approach juicy link partners of competing site ) .

Go for Quality NOT quantity !

Caution: Make sure you pack your site with real substance before approaching established sites / bloggers else nobody is going to associate with you no matter how much you beg.

Just write good relevant content and ppl will be happy to link to your site.... and dont just go for quality!!!!!

Go for quantity of quality!!!!!!

but first : CONTENT IS KING, once you have good content ppl will link to you and prolly one way!!!!

I am new in seo but i think links from forum and blog in not devalued by google.
links from Article submissions and directory submission also works so you can get links from the directories. one way link building is always beneficial.

You "think" they are not devalued by Google and they still work. Any practical evidence to back that claim?

One doesnt get much value from links from forums and blog, one thing is sure one could get some traffic from them.

Not difficult to answer. Visit relevent high PR sites and comminicate on different forums in the theme "buying links"
