*Sigh.* To rank for a specific keyword, learn and implement correct SEO. Please don't ask us to summarize SEO basics for you. You can start by reading the stickies in this forum.
Feel free to tell us what your plan was: then we might be able to tell you why it isn't working. What have you done so far?
What is clear to me from your post is that you do not know SEO but have an opinion that your keyword is "not that hard." This should not be the case. Feel free to tell us why you think you know your keyword isn't competitive.

The number one thing you have to do is read and study the stickies at each of our sub-forums. Once done, read and study the information at my signature.
Bottomline: To practice SEO you first must understand SEO.

seems to me that you're not doing enough on page seo - keywords from a blog to your main website page is fine, but if you want this main page indexed you need to concentrate on the text and the keywords on that SPECIFIC page,

Where did you put these blog posts? How relevant is it to your site? how good is the quality of the posts?
You cant tell me you've read all the stickies on this forum and the only SEo plan you came up with is to make 4 blog posts with a link to your site?
Now im no SEO genious but everything i have learnt is from SEOChat and id like to think i know a bit more than just that.
