with difficulty I'm afraid.. the very nature of flash sites make it very hard for the search engines to fully appreciate the content or navigational structure of them..

Google can cope with some of the newer versions of flash if they have been well developed, though I have no direct experience of this myself so I don't know how effective it is.

Ultimately I would use flash sparingly and not for an entire site and definitely not soley for the navigational structure, always provide an HTML version of any information contained within the flash pieces.

Ive heard tell but again I can't confirm.

"e still have major issue with flash, and a big limitation is the number of pages on the site, most flash pages have only on html page and thta nmeans only a few keywords can be targeted. When on a normal site I would be targetting 2 -3 keywords per page.

You can have alternative text on the page when you imbed your flash, this is read by search engines and is useful for ranking purposes.

So in theory you can get a full flash site to rank for one pages worth of phrases.

Google can crawl flash, there are many flash pages indexed in Google and the content can be read however it is true it isn't quite the same as html pages and you don't see that many flash pages rank well. Whatever the reasons are if your using flash try and use html as well. Use a flash header and a html body for those old-coots who have dial-up and the search engines. I personally find flash can be a draw-back but at times it makes a site look very nice.

You can just use a Flash alternate javascript. Then if its google or a user who doesn't have flash they see the html, otherwise show flash. You can find these scripts by searching google (if for some reason you can't just PM me).
