FB posts on Google My Business question

Hi All, We recently got our Google My Business Listing (GMBL) up and running for our
yoga training business. For a number of years we've had an active FB page and we post
about 2-3 post per week on our FB page.

Our FB posts are nice and get good engagement. So we think putting all our FB
posts onto our GMBL would be good. But we want to check with some experts first.

Should we post all our FB posts onto our GMBL? Is that good for making our GMB listing
    more engaging?

I did a google search on this and didn't find a specific answer. Thanks!

That would just look like spam. I suppose you could post all of your FB post, but that actually would be an exercise in futility.

Now you are going to ask why, so read... and understand why.

    • Google deletes your post after 7 days to ensure the sharing of fresh content.
    • Event Posts stay live until the event is over.
    • The first 80 characters are what shows up in the Knowledge Panel.
    • Your newest posts will show first and the older ones will be displayed in a carousel.
    • Google will scroll up to 10 posts in a carousel but only the first 2 are seen in SERPs.

Use your listing for what it was intended for, promoting your business.

Google takes great pains not to let the GMB get spammed.

Hi KOS, Thanks for the info. Perfect. I'm new to SEO so getting the lowdown from someone
more experienced is just what I was looking for. Our FB posts are pretty short and, for the most
part, they're all about promoting our business and they're closely related to our main
business. I can select the FB posts that are most relevant and post them to
our GMB listing. So I'll limit how many get posted. Posting the best ones every week will
keep fresh content on our listing, which I guess is a good thing.

    Thanks,
