Fastest way to deal with the damage caused by suplemental results
I had a sub-domain showing an affiliates based store with a lot of pages, but all of them the same for all the affiliates using the store under different domains and sub-domains. So they all got in the suplemental results.
As soon as i understood that i DELETED the sub-domain and dropped the program. Now few months later, the most of the pages which doesnt exist on my sub-domains any more are still showed in google's index as suplemental results (they were over 700 when i found it, and about 500 now) Is there a way to make google remove them faster, after all those are pages which doesn't exist any more...and google is crawling my site every week or so.... |

This happended to me as well. I had 10,000 pages indexed for a subdomain using a affiliate white lable site they had offered.
I used the google removal tool located here. http://services.google.com:8882/urlconsole/controller Using the robots.txt method, I instructed Google to remove all the pages for the subdomain. I did this about 6 months ago and only recently has the site command displayed a more accurate number. Previoulsy the site command still contained the 10,000 odd affiliate pages in the total number. |

there no way to removed your supplementals in a magic words... the thing you can do is make your content and tags unique and wait for the Updates. and you will see.
