I have:

http://www.mysite.com
http://www.mysite.com/index.asp?refer=1
http://www.mysite.com/index.asp?refer=2
http://www.mysite.com/index.asp?refer=3

All of these are identical.

Right now WMT "links to your site" shows these as separate URLS.
i.e. it says 20 links to ?refer=1... 40 links to ?refer=2... etc. I assume therefore this means that google is splitting my pagerank of my homepage into multiple pages, diluting its value significantly.

What's the solution to combine these sources all into one?

If I use rel canonical on that page to be "http://www.mysite.com", will google combine all of those together under "http://www.mysite.com", or will backlinks always be separated, and pagerank divided?

Thanks
