Does primary keyword is required in the every page title?

    Hi all,

We can see many website page titles are filled with "primary keyword" along with their "brand name" at suffix of the page titles. Just like some SEO websites may add SEO at every page title... XYZ SEO. Just wondering how much this gonna help to rank homepage for the primary word. Will this influence ranking for primary keyword? Or can we remove "primary keyword" from other non-relevant pages and limit the same to important pages to rank well?

    Thanks

First of all, do u understand what primary kw means?
This should be unique for every page of your website. So there is no such thing as removal of primary kw from non-relevant pages. If a page should not be ranked, then use it as noindexed.
Then, for all important pages, yes it's super important to include at the page title your primary kw, which is related to this specific page.

Yes, of course, placement of your keywords in a title does affect your ranking as a keyword is the only way by which search crawlers identify your site and understand your content. You can try to include your primary keyword in the title of every page but only when it is desirable and practical. You can also use variables for your primary keyword like semantics or secondary keywords. And, make sure the <title> tag is the first element in the <head> section of your page

Yes, obviously it benefits you to get ranked through that keyword in google or any other search engine.

So, typically primary keyword is considered the main site niche or theme - i.e what the site is about from a high level.

Many sites do brand all of their pages XYZ: This Topic and the next page is XYZ: That topic.
If all of the pages with this keyword in their title link back to the home page it will have a slight effect on the ranking of the home page for the XYZ term, as the site is more clearly all about that term. However, it will have a slightly detrimental effect on "This Topic" & "That Topic" on each individual sub page.

Neither way is going to swing things significantly for you.

So the advice is to do what makes sense - if XYZ showing up in the SERPs helps with branding and recognition then it makes sense to do that for the less tangible reasons other than pure SEO metrics.

This falls into the category of technically a small SEO handle but shouldn't be considered over more general human readability factors.

According to me every keyword is main if has good search and click rate.
We mostly target any specific keyword to a specific page. So i don't think that this is important to add your main keyword in all pages title. You just need to choose a specific page of your website to target for your main keyword.

How you place your keywords is important for SEO but you don't have to put the main primary keyword for every page or posts. If it doesn't go with it do not stuff.

Some of y'alls problem is you are stuck on keywords like if it was 2012. It's not. Stop thinking about keywords and start thinking about relevant topics that will be of interest to your audience.

Primary keywords are the ones that are given the most important while optimizing a web page.

    - set the proper keyword and you will get more search engine traffic.

Use Keywords in Blog Post Title, Meta Desc
    Use Keywords in Page URL
Use Keywords in Between First 100 Words

    Use Keywords in Image Alt-Tags
