Does Google index SSL sites?
Hi all

A simple question, will a website on a SSL secure server be listed on google (and other search engines).

I have done a bit of research and most people seem to think not, but some places are saying google will index SSL sites.

Thanks for your replies.

knowing now that SSL are indexed by google, my next question is will having my site on a secure server affect in any way either my PR or my chances of being indexed?

Basically I want to know if there is any reason at all not to put a site on a SSL.

Sorry if these are basic questions. I'm new to SEO
