The page could be as many words as you want it to be as long as you keep one word in mind - RELEVANCE.
Pick a main subject and write about it. If it takes 500 words, great. If it takes 50,000 words, great.
A little tip, if its going to be a lot of content make sure you break it up into easy to read short paragraphs that keep the readers attention. Key here is to be more concerned with HUMANS and you and Google will more than likely never have any beef.
