The site is linked to from an ad on here, you shouldn't take that to mean that the SEO community here endorses the service.
One of the PR9 sites is adobe.com.
So this company will go and post bogus messages there for you with a back link to your site.
Much like people come and post bogus messages here that have nothing to do with SEO so they can get thirty posts and put a signature with a link here.
If you think that through then you'll realise that the adobe moderators will do what they can to get rid of your link so your relying on the skill of the operator to post credible posts about adobe products to get past the moderators.
So you'll be degrading the quality of the discussion forum because you are desperate for a link.
To me it doesn't sound like a winning approach but if you find it works for you then do come back and tell us. I think you're better lighting a cigar with the money myself.

reckless, I can build 10 forum links that are weighted more than 100 of theirs.
Links from forums can be very beneficial. Not the way they do it though. Short term yes/maybe
They give you sig links, and profile links. Thats NOT a good organic looking link.
To get the full value from a forum link, you have to build value into the thread. You have to make it look natural as possible, and make the link actually relevant to the thread
I have quite a few methods that I have used, and will not give them out.
I will give a general example of a good forum link drop.
I have taken real life pictures of products, and went to XXX forum.
Thread Title " Guys where can i find this KEYWORD WIDGET"
Post pic.
reply etc.
Then get your friend to reply with a link to the product on your website.
That very type of link is worth 10 times a sig link

It was YOU!!!
I don't doubt that you do actually provide a 'good quality something' which stays and potentially 'builds'. I have also seen such 'tag teams' get called out and or banned on forums.
Like many things in link building, it comes down to being 'cautious' and adding some sort of quality/value.
OP: So I wouldn't go for it (the forum link company) either.

There is too much of this kind of thing around, people commenting on blogs and forums to get links.
I agree with both KernelPanic, AlexTampa and GraceFan above. Apart from I would say not to do Alex's method unless there there is a real need for the information on the forum, not just your need for the link.

My bad.
How much do you charge by the way? (you said that a good month would be 3 real top quality links & wonder how much you would bill someone for that)
That's the second time you've asked, and this is the second time I failed to answer. This forum has a specific purpose that does not have anything to do with what KernelPanic charges for his services.
If how much to charge is of interest to you, I suggest starting a new thread and asking the community in the appropriate forum.

it is actually the third time I have asked, I did wonder if you were just avoiding the answer.
I think it relevent on a forum like this because people like you talk about how rubbish services (like this one on forum links) either are often no good or high risk, I just wondered how much a good one like you (I do appreciate that nobody else has said you are any good, you might be all smoke and mirrors, but you have good 'points' on this forum) charges.
There is obviously some deeper reason why you will not say, but that is your choice. I often hear about how you could pay $XXX or $X,XXX and upwards, but you have given a bit of an idea of what someone can expect for their money with you (roughly 3 good links) but have not said how much money that would be.

haha ok. I love your tone! I am not a link builder, I am an SEO. You really should learn the difference before you criticize
I also know when I am being goaded so next time you don't get an answer from me, rest assurred my friend, it's not a case of my not seeing it.

But I am not regulating! lol. Not my job as we have great admins here.
I have just been called out because someone got their panties in a knot because I have methods that work for me that might be different than what works for others.

lolz panic .. do you think i m the one works or own this link building company?
i understand fully that SEO is not a peace of cake specially proper link building. this ad was on SEOchat website so i thought there might be a easier way :p so i asked for before i go ahead .. $399 for so many links its more then reasonable. but i understand now its fake doest give you what they promise (high page rank)
so i decided to look for something good.
if you know any good link building services please PM me ..

I know a great one.
Do research, come up with a great plan and attack. I've NEVER used an SEO service and I'm hardly a pro and I rank first page for a VERY competitive keyword in my niche. Just read the forum man, just read.. Take a week or a month like I did and just study what people ask and how people answer.
You can learn a LOT by not even asking a question - and when your questions come up, well, then that's when you really start to wrap your mind around things.
SEO = creativity.. IMHO. It's a mix of being clever, strategic and sometimes a little bit of luck.
