Disturbing ressults by Google about my domain!!!

Hi,

I am having a serious problem and I tried everything possible but nothing seems to work. THE DILEMA IS:

When I search for my domain name(shaantrading.com) the SERP''s returns unusual results. My domain doesn't show up at all. Instead a third party site comes in top where my website is listed. Even for my top keywords(teak outdoor furniture) those sites show up and my domain is nowhere!!!!

Could somebody check my site and let me know what is wrong??? The site is
shaantrading.com

It seems that all credit is going to that website instead of mine.

For example: If you tpye shaantrading.com., the site (bu.edu) shows up and for every keyword you can find this site evethough that has nothing to do with us.

I appreciate your time and advice.

Thank you so much.

Best wishes,
Akhter

I have had a short look at your site and it seem alright to me. You have a couple of backlinks - I did not check in detail - but you could have more. The site you quote is a university and thus probably has a huge amount of trust from Google. That's why it ranks better than your non-edu site.

The page at Boston uni links to you, which is quite a good thing for you. The link is not marked as 'rel="nofollow"' and the <meta name="robots" ...> element allows spiders to follow links so it is counted. (Checking the robots.txt was useless in this case since the page is indexed as i found it in google).

Searching for - site:shaantrading.com
will give you what you are looking for I believe.

searching for shaantrading.com isn't searching for your URL it is searching for the keyword string shaantrading.com which is why Google gives the trusted .edu site a higher ranking than your own domain.

At a glance this doesn't look like anything to worry about. The fact that your site doesn't rank highly for some keywords isn't anything to do with this issue.

Dont think thats what he meant "site doesnt rank highly for some keywords" think he meant that he was and now someone else has taken his place throughout....

if your rankings or the rankings you had now have another website on there on the exact posistion for all your keywords then chances are your site have been hijacked. This does not last long so it should come back soon.
