    Disappeared from SERPs

One of my sites disappeared from Google SERPs overnight. I also noticed that the site lost 40% of it's PR. Is this normal, and if somebody else has similar experience did the SERPs come back or not? If they did where they the same, worse, better? If they didn't come back soon, where you ever able to gain any SERPs even close to the old ones?

Check again. My site was on page 1 #5 or #6 and I saw it disappear once. I found it on page 5 somewhere. Then I checked a few moments later and it was back on page 1 again. No idea what happened.

I checked again. It is not there anymore. Also the pages that lost PR are not cached anymore. Some of those pages where cached for more then a year. About 40% or pages are not cached anymore.

It happened yesterday morning? I'm not too worried yet. Just curious, and little bit concerned since something like this never happened before.

hmm. the word on the street says google is going through some update at the moment.

whether that means you pop back up in the serps, or you're doomed to languish down in the depths of hell, only time will tell...

Right. Google is crawling my site as we speak. It is a very strange crawl. It crowles just some deep pages. Never seen this before.
