directly payed banner cand be interpreted as payed link?
Hello, please apologies if this question is a newbie question, I didnt find the answer nowhere, thats why I ask here.
I want to add a 790 x 90 banner with a direct link on my site. Is not an addsense banner but someoane pay me directly to put hes banner on several pages on my site.
The question is: as I read, google dont like pay links, so how do I add a banner in a correct wey without upseting google?
Is possible for a 790 x 90 banner to be interpreted as a pay link by google? How can I avoid that?
Is confusing as google say on one way, don't pay for links, but on another wey thay promote addsense to pay for ads, that are in fact payed links, in a wey or another.
Thank you!

Would the advertiser complain if you made the link "nofollow" ? Have you agreed on that?
Google doesn't mind 'paid links'. They just don't like it when paid links pass 'PageRank'

dzine is correct. Any backlink, banner ad or not, that is paid for should have a "nofollow" tag to be in compliance to Google's TOS.
