different results depends the interface language
why are the results so different and dependent from the interface language. For example
en-version: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...G=Google+Search de, es, it, be etc. version: http://www.google.com/search?hl=de&...oogle-Suche&lr= Itīs not only during the dance, itīs allways so.

Mario,
Yes, I've seen it also on different searches and different languages (e.g. Spanish). Maybe the search algorithm gives more weight to local sites (hosted in the local country) for languages other than English. I'd like to investigate this some more - if I find anything interesting I'll let you know. Gringo. |

Mario - the problem is that Google will use various factors to determine if a site is in a certain language, and these factors may not always produce the right results.
For example, if a German website is hosted in the US and has a .com extension, Google may not detect it as German. I personally believe that the results should be EXACTLY the same, because the only option you are changing is which language Google is in, not which language you want the websites to be (this is a different option). However, if you change this option, it looks like Google does some geo-targeting based on IP (where the site is hosted), tld and possibly DMOZ category. I think they should do this if you specify you only want sites in a certain language, but not if you just change Google's Interface Language as you have done above. Gringo. |

Mario,
If you mean English as in the UK, then you will have difficulties, because the site isn't hosted in the UK, nor does it have the .uk tld. If you mean global English (principally US visitors), then I don't think you need to worry, because Google will show all sites by default. I am also in Spain. gringo. |

Mario,
You can probably get the same results by searching on google.co.uk. I don't think the visitor's IP address enters into the equation (yet). Gringo. P.S. Yes, Madrid. |

Google tries to show relevant results based on your computer internet provider IP address. It's shift of paradigm toward local search.
