Did Google finish the caffeine update?

My site had pretty good ranking so far and while not changing its SEO Strategy it dropped significantly after years of top ranked positions.

Only thing I can think of is that Google maybe didn't finish his last update. Is it still running?

Then there could be a zillion reasons for your drop, which would have nothing to with caffeine at all. Or are due to caffeine, but improve search quality.

I am almost ashamed to say I have seen nothing but positive bumps on my sites around 4 januari.

I understand that update was more on the technical side. Code, loading time but I'm not sure what about the rest as afar as links and content.

Did they mention anything about blog links for instance?
