Question Did Google fail to index my website?

My website has been around about 2-3 months on the Internet. Recently, googlebot has finaly started to come to my website, but still doesn't seem to crawl and index it. If I type the URL or site name of the site, I get only "www.sitename.com/" without any description and the title. Can anyone please tell me why this is happening? How can I make Google successfully index the title and description of it?

Get a few high quality back links and just wait!

Try submitting to a few directories if you want to give your self a little extra "umph".

    Hi all.

How can I get a number of high quality rinks? I'm now wondering if it is really effective to buy those links in order for the googlebot to index my website.

Most of web sites with good PR are unwilling to deal with a website with no PR like mine. This seems to be a stumbling block in the effort to get listed.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Finally got indexed!

Finally, my website has been successfully indexed by Google after contacting Google tech support staff and making changes on some codes of the site. It took two and a half months for the website to be indexed by Google. Reading the webmaster guide carefully that Google provides surely helped me find the cause of the issue.

Now, my focus is shifting to how I can achieve the higher ranking for specific key words and phrases.

Thanks to all who gave me suggestions!
