Deleted robot.txt - what now?

I discovered that robot.txt had a block on my site. I deleted this file as I want to rank in Google, but when I go to Webmaster Tools, Google still thinks the file is there. Is it just a matter of time, or how do I get google to re evaluate my site?

You could resubmit or submit a sitemap in Google Webmaster Tools.

Ask Google to Crawl a Page Or Site

Create your own robots.txt file. One that only blocks pages/directories you don't want indexing, if any.

Do you have your site in Google Webmaster Tools?.

Create sitemap and submit to GWT.

Let Google find it naturally through backlinks.
