Danny Sullivan,...Going...Going...Gone
With much dismay I read that Danny Sullivan apparently has had some tough contract negotiations with the new SEW and SES owners. It's going to be tough to see him leave them, but he'll never leave SEO. He's addicted like the rest of us.
I kind of wonder on which side, and what concession was the deal-breaker, but I guess that's neither here nor there.
If its corporate-side, it will surface, and I think be a real black eye for the company.

Agreed, I think incesive can afford to let hm go at this point in time. SEO is booming and they can simply ride the wave.

Thanks for the post. Reminds me of when I heard about the passing of Cory Rudl last year. I was reading Danny's stuff back in 1999 although I haven't been to the SEW site in a while (it is way too cluttered to me). Danny taught me a lot in the early years with his newsletter. I wish him the best too.
